An update on the Launcher

Hello Arctium Community,

Over the course of the last few weeks, many of you have expressed the need for an updated Arctium Launcher over on our Discord Server. While we are almost ready to share news about that, we felt like it we needed to share a bit more of what's going on behind the curtains 😄.

Arctium App

With a new expansion cycle around the corner, we wanted to take this opportunity to improve upon the accessibility and aesthetic of our tools. That's why we have been developing a brand new Arctium desktop application for you all. This app will provide a new way of downloading and updating the latest versions of the Arctium Sandbox AND the Arctium Mod Launcher (aaand possibly more in the future 😉).

Arctium App

This has been in the work for quite some time, and we are really excited to finally release it to the public on its very first version on or before Shadowlands release. This application will bring a much more user friendly interface while consolidating all of our tools in one single place.

It will also introduce some new functionalities and features like automated download/installation and a much faster and cleaner user interface to browse through our tools, as well as a brand new quick tutorial. Of course, this is just the beginning, and the first version of the app won't support all of the features we have planned for it right from the get go. Be reassured that the main Arctium tools will remain updated just as regularly as they have been for the past few years, but throught the app, instead of having to pass through standalone applications to update each and every one of them.

What about the older versions?

The versions of the Launcher and Sandbox that were released prior to the app's release won't be supported in the future, the app will be the only way to access the newest versions of our tools.

If you have any suggestions or feedback for us whether it's about the accessibility or the aesthetics let us know on Discord!

Thanks to everyone for their patience and incredible support !

We have not forgotten you !

Much love, 💋
